Library of the School Public Health and Institute of Public Health Research has been offering services to researchers, faculty members and students for the past 30 years, in subjects of health, medicine and basic sciences. Scientific, research and university institutions are the other users of informative services of the library.

Library books are classified as LC and NLM; they are accessible by producing cards and by computer registration.
Since the library receives great attention of the World Health Organization, its publications are being sent regularly and the library is considered as an important source of those. Two important and complete collections of Technical Report and WHO Criteria are kept at the loan desk.
The library has one of the richest periodical’s sections among all the libraries of the universities in the country and has been receiving 736 periodicals regularly.
Presently receives 300 journals in health sciences, environmental health, microbiology, mycology, parasitology, biochemistry, entomology, immunology, nutrition, biostatistics, genetics, occupational health, etc. periodically.
Every day hundreds of referred researchers and students use the existing rich and in some cases rare collections.
By using the interlibrary loan agreements through the journal’s section, the library tries to facilitate the requirements of the students of the School of Public Health and other centers by corresponding systems.
